Bachman, Otis & Co., CPA PLLC was established as a full service CPA firm to serve the tax, accounting and consulting needs of individuals and small businesses in the Detroit Metro area. Robert Bachman, CPA
Robert Bachman received his Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University in June, 1966. He was admitted to the Federal Bar and State Bar of Michigan in January, 1967. Robert Bachman received his Certificate of Public Accounting from the State of Michigan in May, 1970. He has worked as a consultant and accountant for a varied group of businesses and individuals for tax and financial matters.
Robert Bachman also has worked in the field of litigation support, including being an advisor to a major insurance company in loss of income matters.

David T. Otis, CPA
David T. Otis received his Certificate of Public Accounting from the State of Michigan in December 1988. He has worked as a controller for a world-wide multi-million dollar manufacturing facility, as well as a multi-million dollar distributor.
In addition, he has worked in public accounting, representing a diverse selection of business clients.
David Otis also has worked in the field of forensic accounting, helping to provide litigation support services in the areas of loss of income, wrongful death and termination, fraud and embezzlement investigations and business valuations.

Charitable Activities
David Otis is a past treasurer, secretary, vice-president, and president of the Greater-Detroit/Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and current Chapter Leader for The Compassionate Friends Lakes Area Chapter.
